Palazzo Ruspoli Cerveteri

The first inhabitants were the Etruscans of Cerveteri.
Its Necropolis is known throughout the world with testimonies dating from the thirteenth century before Christ.
Palazzo Ruspoli, built in the sixteenth century, is located in the center of Cerveteri's charming main square, surrounded by medieval walls, with the Rocca used by the Etruscan Museum on one side, and the ancient church build in 1100 on the opposite side. Saturday, February 25, 2012 Prof. De Iorio has claimed Cerveteri's Principality, illustrating the bull found in the Vatican secret archives. It is the bull of Pope Clement XI of March 3, 1709 that rises to ''Principatus Terrae Cerveteris" the ancient Etruscan capital.
Cerveteri is just few minutes from Saint Peter, Fiumicino Airport and the Port of Civitavecchia.
