Castelvecchio is an old medieval hamlet immersed in an 800 hectare estate, with a dominant position over the gullies. It weaves it’s history with that of the castles and fortresses which overlook the Val D’Orcia, a land of everlasting battles between the Perugini, the Guelfi and the Ghibellini who fought in order to conquer the strategic territory between Montepulciano, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni and Montalcino.
Surrounded by an immense Italian garden, the main villa, which dates back to the year 1000, rules over Borgo di Castelvecchio with discrete authority. Inside its walls you immediately perceive a genuine and pristine atmosphere.
