The current residence originates from the renovation of an older construction, which was built during the 18th century on an ancient edifice. Due to its convenient location on the hill over the Sesia river (historical border between the duchy of Milan and the state of Sabaudia), this construction was used as a military observatory.
The original house, realized by the noble lawyer Finazzi (who gave his name to the house, named “Cà Finazzi” on the 19th century’s land registers) included the owner’s rural home and the worker’s. The worker tended the vineyards, which covered the entire hill, connecting the Milanese plain with the Val Sesia.
The renovation, respecting the traditional characters, realized environments in which exchange and communication, freedom and privacy all together form a sort of “little motherland”. It is a place where feelings, memories and human relationships connect and create a warm atmosphere of intimate pleasure, genteel comfort and confidence.
Under reservation is possible to visit the house and the wine cellar.
