Villa Rita is a historical residence surrounded by the countryside of Pisa, located in the charming village of Località Noce. It is the perfect location for your wedding day or any other special occasion, and we guarantee you will be very pleasantly surprised by the warmth extended to all our guests.

As you pass through the gate, you will be greeted with a luxuriant Italian-style garden ablaze with citrus trees and a variety of typical Tuscan floral species, with a predominance of roses and a stunning climbing bougainvillea that adds a Mediterranean charm to the property from spring through to winter.

Inside the Villa, you will find a succession of rooms, entrances and hallways, all of which feature captivating frescoes, original terracotta floors, vaulted ceilings, antique chandeliers, paintings, period furniture and valuable ceramics collected over time by the owner with passion and an expert eye.

Both the suggestive, refined grounds of the Villa and its elegant, welcoming interiors will be discreetly and carefully prepared for your special occasion, ensuring your personal tastes are carefully taken into consideration. Our high-quality catering service will cater for even the most demanding of culinary preferences, contributing to the enchantment of this beautiful day.

THE HISTORY OF VILLA RITA

Villa Rita is a historical residence dating back to the 1400s, as evidenced by the numerous frescoes by Ghirlanda, a Florentine painter of the sixteenth century who worked for the noble Lanfreducci family. Ghirlanda painted a wall of the monumental cemetery of Pisa and frescoed the Fiumi e Fossi Palazzo, formerly known as ‘Alla giornata’ or ‘Seize the Day’, the family motto, which can also be found in the villa. There are numerous artistic testimonies left by the noble Pisan and Florentine families who have succeeded each other through the centuries.

Villa Rita is located in front of the Uliveto Thermal Baths, in an ancient medieval hamlet. With its multiple extensions, it now has a Z-shaped structure and extends over two floors for circa 1,000 square metres. It has a classic yet not austere style and is utterly captivating for the rich historical narrative it portrays, while maintaining an atmosphere of subtle originality.,
