Palazzo Pegazzera is located inOltrepo Pavese, in Municipality of Casteggio a few kilometers from Milan.
The place is enchanting: the villa stands at 257 meters above sea level in a dominant position, surrounded by prestigious vineyards.
It was built between the 1703 and the 1718 fromAlmo Collegio Borromeo of Pavia, which assigned it to a summer residence and kept it, uninterruptedly, up to 1967.
The villa includes a park with old trees and a chapel with an independent entrance, open to the garden, dedicated to San Carlo Borromeo, founder and glory of the College of Pavia.
Currently the building is presented as one of the best examples of "villa lombarda", linear and elegant, with architectural features essential in their refinement.
