Villa della Genga in Spoleto
The Villa della Genga overlooks the small village of Poreta, is located at the base of a green hill covered with oaks and olive trees in a dominant position in the valley.
Built in the seventeenth century, the Villa has had a dual function for centuries, the center of a farm with its annexes and farmhouses and the function of a leisure house, or hunting lodge. To confirm this last function the elegance of the place, the refinement of the paintings and lastly the stay of Pope Leo XII during the nineteenth century.
