The history of Villa Tron Mioni
Built by Andrea Tron in the early decades of the 600th century, the ancient villa Tron was destroyed by a fire in 1798.
Of the first seventeenth-century complex, only the octagonal oratory has survived, in which you can admire some frescoes representing the life of the Virgin and a rich marble altar with three large statues attributed to Filippo Parodi.
The current villa and the barchesse are the result of a complete renovation by the Carrara family, a family of Bergamo origin who bought the original complex.
The property was expanded with the annexation of extensive land around and transformed into a thriving farm, remained in the property of the Carrara family until the early 900s, thus passing by marriage to the Mioni family who use it as a permanent residence.
