The history of Villa Tron Mioni
Built by Andrea Tron in the first decades of the 600, the ancient Villa Tron was destroyed by a fire in the 1798.
The octagonal oratory in which we can admire some frescoes depicting the life of the Virgin and a rich marble altar with three large statues attributed to Filippo Parodi, have arrived to the present day in the seventeenth century.
The current villa and the barchesse are the result of a complete renovation by the Carrara family of Bergamo origin who bought the original complex.
The property was expanded with the annexation of extensive land around and transformed into a thriving farm, remained in property to the Carrara family until the early '900, then passing by marriage to the Mioni family who used it as a permanent residence.
