The history of Villalta
The historic San Fabiano estate begins one kilometer from the circle of the walls of Arezzo on the surrounding hills and extends on the slopes of the Cassentinor, north-east of the city.
They can still be seen today along this road, which reaches as far as the city walls, the sighting towers and gabelle which underline its commercial and strategic importance.
The first document proving the existence of vineyards on the property dates back to 1416.
