70 Historic Cellars allied to Confagricoltura

Verona, 7th / 10th April 2019 - ADSI - Italian Historic Houses Association - renews its presence at Vinitaly, scheduled from 7th to 10th April, with a growing number of members: they will be in fact 70 the historic cellars present at the event, which corresponds to an annual production of 40 million bottlesand eighty-six acres of untouched landscape.
Cellars and Historic Houses rapresent a reality of great cultural importance, an example of how it is possible to combine the protection of the landscape with the production of high quality wines and with the offer of an experiential tourism that allows you to experience the extraordinary beauty of the Italian countryside.
The novelty of this edition is the cooperation between Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane and Confagricoltura. On Monday April 8, from 12 to 13 at the Confederation stand they will a presentation of the historic cellars followed by a tastings of their wines coming from native grapes. ..
The Association will be directly present at Vinitaly with his own collective stand, thanks to the collaboration with Mercedes-Benz Italia SpA who sponsored the project, located in Pavilion 10 (Stand P5), in the gallery between Piedmont and Tuscany, with the aim of underlining once again the role that historic homes have not only in the search for Italian historical and architectural heritage, but also in the protection and preservation of the rural landscape.

The historic wineries present at Vinitaly are all open to visitors, by reservation, and in many cases they are connected or near historic residences that offer different types of hospitality, thus allowing operators and wine culture enthusiasts to visit places of great charm, where many generations have left their own memories.
