Association of Italian Historic Houses: 40 years for the promotion and protection of Historic Houses

Protection of historical houses - Adsi

The historical and artistic heritage is an essential part of the cultural identity of each country. The preservation of these goods, a true memory of the past, therefore requires, precisely because of their inescapable peculiarities, that they be handed down intact to future generations, through conservation and valorization, thus preserving them from degradation and destruction.

In the 1977, following the example of similar associations operating in other European countries, the Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane, a non-profit-making moral body which, for almost forty years, has proposed to facilitate the storage development and management of historic buildings.

The good preservation of a historical asset also considerably re-qualifies the context in which it is inserted, enhancing the surrounding area and therefore offering considerable benefits to the community, not only from an aesthetic point of view but above all encouraging the local economy.

A well-preserved historical and artistic heritage that is rendered usable is in fact a remarkable one resource for economic development and consequently generates productivity and work.
And it is precisely in this context that the Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane it has continued, for four decades, in the work of those who were the first to feel the need to protect the most beautiful anthropic landscape in the world.
