The excellences of the Emilia area meet at the millennial Castle of Tabiano on the Parma hills for the 1 ° edition of "Flowers, Knowledge, Flavors" Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 April 2019, from 10.00 to 19.00.
The best nursery gardeners, experts in good food, food specialties and quality craft creations (such as the flowers-jewel by Carolina Ravarini) will give life to a review that develops like a preview of the events to celebrate next year Parma Italian Capital of Culture 2020.

The protagonists will also be there Star chef Massimo Spigaroli, Ambassador of Italian cuisine, owner with his brother Luciano dell'Antica Corte Pallavicina, true temple of food and wine tradition and patissier Chef Claudio Gatti, also known abroad for his pastry creations that he will make at the moment the sweets of the ancient Via Francigena.

In the two days of the event there is also the possibility of explore the Castle of Tabiano accompanied by the owners, with the ballrooms, the Hunters, the coats of arms decorated with stuccoes, frescoes and coats of arms, the grand staircase, the private chapel, the ancient (5 euro, free for children up to 8 years). Among the most important defensive monuments of the feudal era in Upper Emilia, legendary figures such as Uberto the Great Pallavicino, Rolando the Magnificent and Isabella, the Angel of Tabiano, lived here, protagonist of a tragic love story that refers to Romeo and Juliet. After centuries of wars, sieges, tragedies, crimes, at the end of the 800 the fortress became a private residence which from the 2016 hosts guided tours, visits, events, ceremonies and cultural events.
