Besides Castel del Monte, to the big ones cathedrals, to the picturesque trulli and to the expanses of ancient olive trees, there is a Puglia that still survives, unchanged over the centuries, linked to families who have been able to preserve their traditions. It will be possible to admire one messapic tomb in a private garden of Lecce, have breakfast with cheeses produced in one fortified farm inhabited by peasants, to be received in one castle of Salento or in one convent on the sea that since the eighteenth century hosted famous travelers. Under a clear sky the expanses of vineyards which delimited by dry walls they are the crown of ancient masserie.

Our itinerary in Salento:

An itinerary of four days dedicated to the other and low Salento, begins with one historic masseria di Martina Franca inhabited by the owners of the center of a farm to continue on the same day with a medieval castle still inhabited by the family of origin and with one eighteenth-century farmhouse considered the most beautiful in Puglia; the second day is dedicated to Lecce, with the visit of some private residences, the third a Otranto with visits of historical houses ranging from barocco allo eclectic style, the fourth al low Salento with visits to palaces e private farms e tastings in wineries.
