AGRITURISMO VILLA GRAZIANI IN ROSIGNANO MARITTIMO

Villa Graziani, nestled in the greenery of the ancient 'Fattoria il Pino', was built in 1841 during the reclamation period of Grand Duke Leopold II of Lorraine. Constructed in the neo-Classical style, its C-shaped planimetric layout is crowned by monumental Guelph battlements, with the two side wings extending towards the rear garden. There are also outbuildings of the farmhouse, with a small tower, the ‘Torrino’, the Caffe House and other smaller structures set within the park of the Villa.  Archaeological finds of considerable significance were discovered in the grounds during the reclamation work, related to the ancient ‘Vada Volaterranea’ lines written by Roman poet Rutilio Namaziano.

Villa Graziani represents an important example of ‘Romantic Eclecticism’ from the mid-1800s in its entirety. Inside the Villa, the dining room features a ceiling decorated with the joyful theme of the four seasons, along with other decorated ceilings and two well-crafted fireplaces.

In the main residence there are 12 double rooms (including 3 period suites), while in the two annexes located in the large park, there is a total of 6 apartments.

The ‘Enoteca Graziani’ restaurant, located in front of the Villa, used to be the ancient stables of the Farm. At the restaurant, we offer traditional Tuscan dishes (using ingredients from both sea and land) using only seasonal, organic and locally sourced ‘zero kilometre’ ingredients, all sublimated by the extra virgin olive oil we produce.

THE HISTORY OF VILLA GRAZIANI

Once upon a time, there was an ‘Antica Fattoria il Pino’, a flourishing agricultural and food-producing farmhouse with hectares of land dotted with neo-Classical buildings, the chosen residence of noble families of the region. History has left an indelible mark in this place, where boundless green landscapes embrace the blue sea.

Every detail at Villa Graziani has a unique beauty, and the heirs and owners of the property have overseen renovation work aimed at fully restoring the period furnishings and fittings, integrating the modern comforts of charming hospitality in every corner.

The result, for those who have the pleasure of staying here, translates into the emotion of sleeping under the canopy of the Ginori Counts, accessing your bedroom via the Tearoom, where you can admire coats of arms and frescoes belonging to the Graziani family, and strolling among the ancient agricultural tools once used at the farm.

This Agritourism consists of a main residence with 12 rooms and two smaller buildings (called the Dépendance) located within the large and evocative tree-lined park, where additional 6 apartments have been created, each with its own history and characteristics.

The Enoteca Graziani Restaurant, housed in the Villa’s ancient stables, proposes renowned dishes from the Tuscan culinary tradition. The organic, locally sourced products (extra virgin olive oil, vegetables, fruits and jams) can truly be called ‘zero kilometre’, as they are produced at the farm. The extensive wine list, including wonderful Tuscan red wines from Bolgheri, complements each dish perfectly, and the staff are always ready to advise guests on their choices.
