Hotel Opinione is a small hotel business, founded in 1834 in the Trentino Dolomites, which is still managed today as it was then by the Baldessari family. This family-run hotel is steeped in history and is situated in the heart of San Lorenzo Dorsino, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

According to documentation dating back to 1834, it was originally a meeting place for local residents, who would gather here to discuss private and public affairs, as well as politics, giving rise to the appropriate name given to the hotel: ‘Opinione’, a place where everyone could express his or her opinion freely, so that the community could reach informed decisions together.

The residence is located in the vicinity of the Alpi Ledrensi e Judicaria area, which in 2015 obtained UNESCO international recognition as a Biosphere Reserve according to the Programme on Man and the Biosphere (MAB), as well as Adamello Brenta Park. It is listed as one of the “Borghi più belli d’Italia”, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, and is also a stop on the Cammino di San Vili pilgrimage route.
