Palazzo Agliardi in Bergamo

Palazzo Agliardi stands in Porta S. Agostino, one of the historic districts of Bergamo where the most important families of nobles and merchants constructed their sumptuous mansions in the sixteenth century.

The palace was built during the Cinquecento period by Alessandro Martinengo Colleoni and was renovated in 1741 by architect Caniana. The Agliardi Counts bought the building in 1845 and the Agliardi family remains the owner to this day.

Inside the house, there is a large central hall flanked by four reception rooms. The ceilings are decorated with vivacious frescoes by C. I. Carloni and F. Ferrario.It is possible to gain access from these rooms to a charming roof garden and the stables.

The Palazzo can be visited all year round by prior appointment, or we can arrange for you to be welcomed by the family for lunches or dinners in the dining room, where the owners of the house will delight in sharing stories and anecdotes about their home and its history.

This private residence can be hired for weddings, private receptions, corporate events, product presentations, conferences, concerts and photo shoots.

The Palazzo can host seated lunches and dinners for up to 80 people, while for conferences a maximum of 80 people can be accommodated in the main reception room, and 40 in the smaller conference room. It is also possible to hire only a part of the building (five, seven or two of the rooms, or the more rustic part of the building containing the cellar, the porch and the stable).
