THE HISTORY OF VILLA CANTONI MARCA

Eighteenth-century Villa Cantoni Marca is a valuable historical building located in the municipality of Sabbioneta, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It comprises a courtyard with a mansion and adjacent wings, immersed in a centuries-old park, which is under the protection of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage. Restoration work has been underway since 2016, with the aim of adapting the building for tourist and accommodation purposes. The Villa originally served as the summer residence of the noble Cantoni Marca family from Lazio.

Visits and opening hours: from Wednesday to Sunday at the following times – 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
