Contact the abode

Villa La Collina has been the residence of the Vespignani Counts since 1576 and is one of the most prestigious historical buildings in the Emilia Romagna region.

It stands in the heart of the "La Collina" estate, which stretches over the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines, a mountainous territory whose enchanting landscapes frame the architectural complex. The grand mansion, accessed by a magnificent avenue, is a restrained, compact building that is unmistakeably Tuscan in style, with a full arch portal and decorations in sandstone.

Next to the Villa, the Vespignani family had an oratory built in 1690, dedicated to the "Presentation of Jesus in the Temple".

Recently completed conservation and restoration work highlights the Villa's evocative features. Inside, the rooms have vaulted ceilings, with of particular note the lovely kitchen and its four-sided cross vault, supported by a central column. The grand stone staircase, corridors, dining rooms, lounges and twelve bedrooms, embellished with refined antique furniture, together create an ensemble of rare elegance.

Outside, there is a beautiful Italianate garden with a swimming pool, while all around the Villa lies the extensive natural park with its spellbinding views and breath-taking panoramas of the surrounding hills.
