Villa Trivulzio Belgiojoso, neoclassical villa on the Naviglio Grande

A typical example of a neoclassical Villa, built in the late 18th century by the well-known Trivulzio family who belonged to the Milanese aristocracy, and located in the centre of Cassinetta di Lugagnano, a locality on the Naviglio Grande, 25 km from the centre of Milan and 15 km from the site where the Rho Expo Milano took place in 2015.

The Villa is encircled by a tripartite gated entrance and a large English-style park growing wild vegetation, delimited at its rear by a double pair of statues depicting the four seasons. A romantic neoclassical octagonal temple with granite columns is to be found in the grove. The main section of the Villa is decorated in bossage stone and is three-sided, with double Doric columns resting on a rusticated plinth supporting the cornice.

Villa Trivulzio is one of sixteen historical residences of excellence, selected and photographed with its Park and featured in the fine arts collection issued in November by the publisher "Ad Arte" of Turin.

Philharmonic concerts are regularly held in the evocative grounds.

There are two heated reception halls measuring over 80 square metres each, with car parking facilities in the internal courtyards, utility rooms and a kitchen area for external catering services.
