    The Places We’ll Visit

    • Carmagnola
A walking tour through this historic town, featuring the castle of Manfredo II of Saluzzo and the Collegiate Church of Saints Peter and Paul, home to the renowned painting “The Assumption of the Virgin” by Guglielmo Caccia, known as Il Moncalvo, and an exquisite 18th-century high altar by architect Gallo. We will also visit the 18th-century synagogue, considered one of the most beautiful in Italy, still preserving its original furnishings.
    • Racconigi
A short stroll through the town’s historic center before visiting the Royal Castle of Racconigi, an extraordinary residence of the House of Savoy. This majestic palace, richly decorated with rare furniture, Chinese-inspired décor, tapestries, and significant artworks, is part of the UNESCO-listed Royal Residences of Piedmont.
In 1842, the castle hosted lavish celebrations for the wedding of Victor Emmanuel II and Maria Adelaide of Austria, while in 1909, it was the setting for the historic meeting between Tsar Nicholas II Romanov and King Victor Emmanuel III, which led to the diplomatic Racconigi Agreement.
