Relais Villa Ambrosetti
The appearance of Relais Villa Ambrosetti as you see it today is the result of restoration work carried out in 2017, a project that succeeded in combining modern design with harmonious traditional elements, enhanced by a strong attention to detail and high-quality finishes. The old building, adjacent to the main villa, has preserved its identity thanks to the reconstruction work done on the façades – one in plaster and the other in exposed stone – which blend elegantly with the fresh and modern interior spaces. These are characterised by the use of simple yet refined materials, as can be seen in the polished concrete floors that evoke the colour of antique terracotta, and the choice of oak wood that is so typical of the Veronese region.
The Villa offers an array of different solutions, ideal both for family stays, for brief or even extended periods, as well as shorter stays for couples and solo travellers. There are five rooms and two suites, each named after watercolours gracefully hanging on their walls and depicting flowers from the garden – dahlias, geraniums, roses, and zinnias – dating back to the beginning of the last century.
Every room, fresh and elegant in style thanks to the original period pieces of furniture, is equipped with air conditioning and a fireplace, a private bathroom and delightful views offering different glimpses of the garden. The suite has a separate kitchen, ideal for longer stays, and a living area with a sofa bed which accommodates up to four people.
The communal spaces of Villa Ambrosetti offer its guests the highest comfort and the widest choice in terms of its services. This all begins in the breakfast room, where the farm-grown cakes, jams and preserves produced on the estate are a pleasure for both the eyes and the palate! Visitors can fully indulge in this convivial atmosphere, while sitting around the spacious antique table and getting the day off to a great start with a hearty breakfast.
The reading room is just perfect for cherishing some precious moments of relaxation. It is a haven to which you can retreat in order to read or rest on the sofa while enjoying an invigorating view of the garden, and is an ideal spot for conversing or simply basking in the sunlight: what better place to have a snack or a tasty aperitif, sampling some of the locally grown products?
