Cilento

The province of Cilento has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998 and its national park, with its unspoiled setting against the Apennine mountain range, is one of the largest in Italy.

Beautifully positioned between a coastline of rolling sandy beaches with spectacular rocky cliffs and an almost unbroken backdrop of hills and mountains, it is possible to visit an absolute plethora of historical villages, castles, churches and sanctuaries, many located amid simply breathtaking views. Nothing beats staying in a historical residence as a base for exploring this charming area.
