PALAZZO SAN DONATO, HISTORICAL RESIDENCE IN MONTEPULCIANO

Palazzo San Donato was created during the Renaissance period by renovating two tower houses that were originally constructed when Montepulciano was first founded. In the early 1800s, the property belonged to Orsola Contucci, when she brought it as a dowry on the occasion of her marriage. This historical residence has the commendable feature of retaining its original internal layout, as well as all the finishes and furnishings from the 19th century. From the windows, guests have a view of Piazza Grande on one side and the splendid Val D'Orcia on the opposite side.
