The dwelling is part of the Tenuta di Pietra Porzia, 47 hectares single body a screw e olive in the area of Frascati.

The history of the Tenuta di Pietra Porzia
In 496 BC., in a large amphitheater with the center in the Lake Regillo, Romans and Latins face each other in a tough way battle; at the decisive moment they come down from the sky dioscuri, twin sons of Jupiter, and lead the Romans to victory.

The farm
With the grandfather of the current owners, the Giulini, the company, 48 single-bodied hectares, takes its current appearance with the large vineyard and olive grove in the upper part of the amphitheater. THE 37 hectares of vineyards they are planted in Malvasia of Lazio e Candia, Trebbiano Toscano, Greco e Bombino, used in the Frascati doc, Montepulciano, Merlot e Lecinaro for the Castelli Romani Rosso.
11 hectares are planted in Frantoio, Leccino and Moraiolo and the local Carboncella variety for theextra-virgin olive oil.
In the 1945, a villa that today is a historic residence, is built by the architect Luccichenti in a dominant position with a breathtaking view, which ranges from Rome to Tivoli, to the Castelli Romani, Monteporzio and Frascati.

Visits to the vineyards and the Roman cellar
The ancient cellar is formed by a succession of galleries, for a development of 400 m, excavated in the tuff at 10 m of depth, in Roman times. In the galleries of the niches there were 120 barrels from 10 quintali each. Thanks to a careful restoration, the cellar is now used for visits and tastings.
