Verona, 15 / 18 April 2018 - Also this year ADSI - Association Italian Historic Houses was present at the appointment of Vinitaly in Verona with a growing number of historical cellars belonging to its Members: they were indeed 64 Historic Estates with cellar who participated in the 2018 event (55 in 2017) representing an annual production of 35 million bottles and, coming from around 30000 hectares of property.

The ADSI members are owners of cultural assets bound as a national monument which, in the case of wine estates, include, in addition to the cellars, gardens, vineyards, olive groves and woods, in a combination of extraordinary architectural and landscape beauty at the same time.
A visit to the historic cellars of the ADSI members constitutes a real one Grand Tour, which offers a unique opportunity to experiential tourism, in which the discovery of many native vines in their natural environment it combines with the offer of gastronomic excellences of the territory.

All historic cellars can be visited by appointment, and among those who participated in Vinitaly 2018, over 50 are also farmhouses restaurants, with a total offer of 800 rooms that, from Trentino-Alto Adige to Sicily, allow enogastronomy lovers to stay in places rich in history and tradition.

"Participation in Vinitaly demonstrates, once again, that owners of historic houses dedicate a constant commitment not only to the conservation and protection of a significant part of our cultural heritage, but also, where possible, to the development and promotion of activities that have a direct impact on the economy of the territories, particularly within rural communities " declared the President of the Association of Italian Historic Houses Gaddo della Gherardesca.
